The Cultural Diversity Fair committee is composed of student and adult members working to foster respect and appreciation for diversity in the community and to celebrate its multiethnic heritage.
The Committee is hosting its 12th annual Cultural Diversity Fair, Saturday, May 15, 2010 at the Vacaville Cultural Center. The all-day event draws thousands and offers a dazzling array of musical and dramatic performances, educational exhibits, mouth-watering ethnic foods and craft booths.
Following the opening ceremonies, browse among the vendors in our” World Market”. Enjoy the flavors & aromas from around the world. Learn about other cultures through our “Passport to the World” (Turn in your completed passport for a chance to win prizes) Enjoy entertainment from around the globe. Irish Dancers, Japanese Drumming, Hawaiian and Tahitian dance, Serbian folk dancing , Chinese Lion Dance and Ballet Folklorico, just to name a few. Sample the flavors from around the world, Chinese, Japanese, Mexican, Italian, German and Mediterranean/Greek.
